Independence Day — July 4th, 2007

Independence Day 2007Today, in the United States, we celebrate our independence day — from Great Britain, now one of our strongest allies after 200+ years. The world changes over time as do our relationships with other countries.

While we celebrate our own independence from foreign rule, it’s important to remember how much work is left to be done in keeping ourselves and others independent and thriving. After the fireworks are done this year, there is much to repair.

Enjoy your day.
